We are super excited to host a Collage Day with artist Dale Nicholson on Tuesday, September 1st! Join us for a fun afternoon of making mixed-media art and learning the ins and outs of the collage process
Where: Morgan County Archives, Third Floor (624 Bank Street NE, Decatur, AL)
When: September 1st at 12:00 PM (following our 11:15 AM business meeting)
Cost: $15 (for non-guild members)
This class is open to anyone who would like to learn more about collage! Whether you are looking to improve your skills or want to be part of a creative, supportive group, you are welcome here

Workshop | Decatur Art Guild Google Training - Artist Johnnie Atkins will show us how to use the Google suite of tools to effectively collaborate as a community. This meeting is open to the public.

Our Next Board Meeting will be on July 7th at 11:15 AM in the Art Guild Room. All Guild members are welcome to attend.

We are super excited to hear from Chandler Hayes at our next Guild meeting. Chandler is a native of Decatur. He has been making and showing art in North Alabama for over 15 years. He has been painting skateboards, spray painting murals, and doing digital illustration. He went to school in New Zealand and has been exploring themes like landscape spirituality and pop culture. He tries to use dynamic compositions and vibrant colors to uplift the viewer and unconventional materials to expand their ideas about what fine art is. .art
