First Priority Decatur Alabama

September, our first month of clubs for 2026, gave us so much to praise the Lord for! 🙌🏼💙

Through Clothe Our Kids of North Alabama, 125 children were clothed and reminded that they are seen, loved, and cared for.
Through First Priority, we celebrated 14 salvations and 28 rededications! 🙌🏼

These are more than numbers. These are children served, hearts turned toward Jesus, and lives changed for eternity!

We are so grateful for every donor, volunteer, church, school, and community partner who helps make this ministry possible — but above all, we give all the glory to God for what He is doing in the lives of students and families across our community.

What a September! We can’t wait to see what He does next. ❤️

“Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory.” Psalm 115:1

HERE WE GO! 🎉🙌

First Priority clubs are starting back this week, and we are so excited to see what God will do on campuses this school year! Please join us in praying for our student leaders, coaches, volunteers, and every student who will hear the Gospel. 🙏

As First Priority clubs begin meeting across our schools, would you join us in praying? 🙏
Pray for our schools, our student leaders, and the faithful volunteers walking alongside them each week. May Jesus be known on every campus!

What a day we had last week at the First Priority Student Leadership Summit 2026! 🙌

Students from across our area came together for a day of worship, teaching, training, prayer, and commissioning as they prepare to step into leadership on their campuses this school year.

We worshiped together. We learned together. We prayed for one another, for our schools, and for hearts fully surrendered to Jesus. And then we sent these students out—equipped and encouraged to carry the hope of the Gospel back to their campuses. ❤️

Next week, First Priority clubs begin meeting, and these students will step up to lead their peers, share their faith, and make much of Jesus right where God has placed them.

Would you join us in praying for them? Pray for courage. Pray for wisdom. Pray for open doors and open hearts. Pray that students would encounter Jesus and that lives would be changed.

The mission field is walking the halls of our schools—and these students are ready to GO! 🙌

⭐ Thank you to Garnett Patterson Injury Lawyers for sponsoring 100% of the Student Leadership Summit! We are so grateful for your partnership!

⭐ Thank you also to Decatur Baptist Church for graciously hosting us and providing lunch for every student and adult in attendance. Your hospitality and generosity helped make this such a special day!

📸 Thank you Jodi Coffey Hyde with Jodi Hyde Photography for capturing the day with these amazing photos!

Reminder: the First Priority and Clothe Our Kids offices are closed today for an offsite event. We will reopen tomorrow morning at 8AM.

Don’t forget to join us this Thursday between 11AM and 2PM as we celebrate and send off our friend Clint!
