🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — Never Forget.

25 years later, we still remember.

We remember the innocent lives taken far too soon. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary people who ran toward danger while others were running away. We remember the families who said goodbye that morning, never knowing it would be their last.

We remember the fear, the heartbreak, and the overwhelming sense of unity that followed. For a brief moment, strangers became neighbors, differences seemed smaller, and our country stood together.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the countless lives forever changed.

May we never forget their names, their stories, their families, or the heroes who gave everything.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

SOUTHEAST DECATUR NEIGHBORS: Don’t wait on your roof after the Aug. 20th microburst! 🏠

If you live anywhere near Stratford Road, Country Club Road, or the surrounding neighborhoods, please take 5 minutes to read this.

That severe storm on Thursday night, August 20th, wasn’t just a regular thunderstorm—it was a confirmed microburst that dumped 3/4-inch to 1-inch (quarter-sized) hail right over our area.

Why this matters to you right now:

If you have an older roof, NOW is the absolute best window to get it inspected.

Insurance companies are paying out claims right now because the storm is heavily documented.

If you wait until next year to fix a leak, your insurance company may deny the claim or blame it on “old age and wear,” potentially leaving you with a $10,000+ out-of-pocket expense.

What you should do:

Don’t call your insurance first.

Call us, your local roofing company to do a FREE inspection.

We can take GPS-tagged photos of the hail damage so you have documentation to provide to your insurance adjuster.

If you want to support a business that pours right back into our community, call River City Roofing Solutions!

Through our “Raise the Roof for Schools” program, we donate $250 directly to the local school of your choice when we complete a roof replacement.
