Missed Sanitation Collection? Please Let Me Know

Hey folks, just a quick heads up. I’ve heard from several Dunwoody residents who experienced missed sanitation collections today, and I understand how frustrating that can be.

If your home or business was not serviced in any area of District 1, please email me at [email protected] with your service address. I’ll work with our sanitation division to help get your collection caught up as quickly as possible.

📢 Upcoming Public Works & Infrastructure Committee Meeting

I want to give you a heads up about an important discussion coming before the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee this Thursday, Sept. 10.

The DeKalb County administration will present information on the Department of Watershed Management’s requirements for industrial development, including:

• Industrial Pretreatment Program
• Water Supply Plan Review
• Sewer Capacity Assurance Program

Why might this matter to you? There has been a lot of community conversation lately about data centers, industrial development and their potential impact on our water and sewer systems. 💧 WATER SERVICE ALERT 💧

DeKalb County Watershed Management has temporarily shut off water service to repair a 6-inch water main affecting a portion of the City of Dunwoody - Government.

Affected areas include:
• Saffron Drive
• N. Peachtree Road
• Saffron Way
• Sandell Drive
• Saffron Court

Approximately 50 customers are affected while crews make repairs.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as crews work to restore water service as quickly as possible. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
