🏆In June, we hosted the Chamber’s 14th Annual Clay Shoot Classic presented by Contractor Service & Fabrication, Inc. at Old South Clays in Athens. Teams enjoyed a full day of networking, competition and fun outdoors.

Recently, our Chamber staff had the opportunity to present the first-place teams with their custom engraved barrel stave awards:

More than $44,000 in tuition savings — and counting!

Since August 2023, employees of Chamber member businesses and their immediate families have saved more than $44,000 on tuition at Athens State University through our Learning Partnership, which provides a 10% tuition discount.

Today’s Emerging Leaders event took us behind the scenes at Morgan County 911! We toured the facility and learned more about the technology, teamwork and decision-making that support emergency response across our community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Today, we celebrated President & CEO Crystal Brown on her last day with the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce as she begins her retirement after more than 14 years of dedicated service.

So many gathered to celebrate her career, thank her for her servant leadership and recognize the lasting impact she has made on our Chamber, our community and our state.

Crystal, thank you for your vision, dedication and unwavering commitment to our business community. Congratulations on your retirement, and best wishes in this next chapter!
