๐Ÿ‰ Is there anything better than a summer festival with FREE watermelon?! The Franklin County Watermelon Festival is back in downtown Russellville August 14-15, and it's one of those North Alabama summer traditions you just have to experience.

Come hungry for watermelon (obviously ๐Ÿ˜‰), browse the arts and crafts vendors, grab something good to eat, and stick around for all the fun, including seed-spitting contests, a car and truck show, a 5K and fun run, kids' activities, and plenty of live music.

๐ŸŽถ Maggie Baugh takes the stage Friday night, and country favorite Tracy Byrd performs Saturday night!

Admission is FREE, so grab the family or a few friends and head to Russellville for a sweet summer weekend. ๐Ÿ‰โ˜€๏ธ
