Now that I'm finished ugly crying I can finally catch you all up on some BIG NEWS!!

Followers Feeding Families was Honored as a Community Hero tonight at the Rocket City Trash Pandas game. We were brought onto the field and presented with a beautiful tear grabbing Award that now hangs in the stadium wall for all to see. Once the next hero is awarded they will give us the award to keep as well. This was such an emotional night. We pour our whole heart into Followers Feeding Families and for that to be acknowledged means so very much. We dont do this for a pat on the back but sometimes the tears, sweat, and hard work feels invisible. To have our dedication appreciated and valued means so very much. This has touched my heart deeply. Ill cherish this night forever. This award may have my name on it but it is as much yours as mine, every volunteer,client, sponsor..we couldn't do this without you! We love you all so much!

Followers Feeding Families is looking for help from the community for a single mother in need. She is in need of clothes and shoes for her children to prepare for the new school year starting in just 2 weeks. She unfortunately lost her hob and then her car. Thankfully she just got a job within walking distance however she is needing clothes and shoes before she could save enough before school starts. She is needing size women's size 16 and size 10 shoes for her Daughter. For her son he needs mens Large/XL and size Men's 10 shoes. If you can help please message us here or call/text 256-200-7244. Heres a few photos from today. Im awful at forgetting to take pix. I get wrapped up in the moment and it just slips my mind. This will change soon as we now have a professional photographer on the board! We plan to take full advantage of her 👏😅

To God be the Glory!! This feels so amazing to share God's love and kindness with new and old friends for the Glory of God. He pulls it all together in our favor for His glory. I wouldnt dare take any of this credit for myself because listen I tried to make it work and I cant. God steps in and guides us and guides others to us and it all comes together.

At the end of the day we simply want to help. We want to share True Christian love with the community. It comes without judgements and is unconditional. We love you. That goes for each and everyone of you rather we have never met or forever known each other. We love you because you are our brother or sister in Christ. We're all just trying to make it to the right place.

We want to send out our deepest gratitude to our community! We couldnt do what we do without these amazing sponsors who help us help others right here in our community! Together we were able to help right at 300 people today!! We gave out over 250 bookbags!

Our sponsors showed up and showed out! They worked hard to help set everything up and helped during the event. I heard not a single complaint (except from me😅🥲🤣) even though it was scorching the last couple days!!

We are so very thankful for each of our sponsors! We cant wait to join forces and do this again!

We had a tremendous surprise today!! Rocket City Trash Pandas crew stopped by and brought book bags,school supplies, and some shirts and some merch to help with the Followers Feeding Families Back to School Bash. We want to send out a HUGE thank you to them! They didn't have to help but they did! It worked out perfectly and for the first time ever we did not run out early. Our sponsors are AMAZING 👏 We look forward to helping others together again in the future 💜
