🚨 WISHLIST WEDNESDAY: WE NEED PUPPY PADS! 🚨

It may not be the most glamorous item on our wishlist, but puppy pads are one of those supplies we use ALL. THE. TIME. And right now, we are running dangerously low!

Puppy pads serve SO many purposes in rescue. 🐾

💛 Transport — lining crates and keeping pups clean and comfortable on long rides.

💛 No Paw on the Ground Protocol (NPOG) — helping us safely care for puppies who aren’t fully vaccinated and shouldn’t be touching public ground.

💛 Puppy Training — because tiny puppies come with tiny bladders…and absolutely NO respect for our floors. 😂

💛 Sanitation — protecting surfaces during medical care, recovery, feeding and everyday foster life.

💛 Car Sickness — because sometimes freedom rides get a little…messy. 🤢😂

We absolutely use washable pads when appropriate, but there are many situations in rescue where disposable pads are necessary—and right now, we urgently need to restock!

Tootsie was born into a world that hasn’t always been kind to animals. 💔

Her life began in a city already facing an overwhelming animal crisis. Then, while she was still just a puppy, she found herself inside an open-intake shelter with her future uncertain.

Puppies shouldn’t have to “try to survive.” They should be learning how to play, discovering toys, getting into puppy mischief, and falling asleep knowing they are safe.

Thankfully, Tootsie is one of the lucky ones. 🎀🍓

She was seen.
She mattered to someone.
And now, Tootsie is SAFE with UltiMutt RSQ. 🩷

Her story doesn’t end in a shelter. It’s just getting started. 🐾

Maxwell says the shelter did NOT allow him to showcase his real talents! 😂💚

The teefs. The poses. The dramatic looks. The BIG stretches. Apparently Maxwell has been holding out on us because this boy has an entire repertoire! 😂

Now that he’s out of the shelter and getting comfortable, his personality is coming out more and more—and we are absolutely here for the Maxwell Show!

Is there extra space on your couch that you aren’t using? Maybe a little too much room in your bed? An unreasonable number of blankets that no one has claimed?

Well… Chloe would like to have them. ALL of them. 😂 And honestly, she may insist.

Chloe, previously Stormy A655787, is looking for her forever family! ❤️

This sweet, cuddly girl would love to have some dog friends and a family that enjoys being active with her. She LOVES to play, loves affection, and believes very strongly that being properly pampered is simply part of responsible dog ownership.

Chloe’s ideal day probably looks something like this:

🍳 A properly curated breakfast to appease her sophisticated taste buds.

😴 A quick morning nap to recover from breakfast.

💨 Morning zoomies!

🐾 A nice walk to explore the neighborhood.

🛋️ Several hours dedicated to keeping the couch warm. This is important work.

🦴 A midday snack…or two. She’s flexible on the number, as long as it’s not zero.

🐶 Afternoon playtime with her fur-friends.

🍽️ Dinner—but perhaps we get a little fancy with it. Chloe appreciates the finer things.

❤️ After-dinner cuddles, playtime, and another round of zoomies.

And finally…

🛏️ BEDTIME! Make room, hand over the blankets, and accept that your personal space is now Chloe’s personal space.

She’s sweet. She’s playful. She’s cuddly. She’s a little spoiled—and she fully intends to keep it that way.

Now she just needs a forever family willing to give her the couch, the blankets, the adventures, the fur-friends, and most importantly, all the love she deserves.

She was just a number this morning… A662347.

A black dog in an open-intake shelter who had simply run out of time.

She had been there nearly two weeks. No name. Minimal interaction. Just one little shelter note: “Seems friendly.”

Her owners never came for her.

She was wearing a collar, which tells us that somewhere before the shelter, she had a name. She had people. She had a life she knew. But on September 23, 2026, all of that disappeared, and she became A662347.

Today, we changed that. 🩷

First and most importantly, she has a plan because we rescued her.

And she isn’t A662347 anymore.

Her name is Arya. 🎀

Today she got a bath, left the shelter behind, and started the first day of the rest of her life. Soon, she’ll be in the care of an amazing family where she’ll get to learn what it feels like to belong again.

This morning she was a number running out of time.

Tonight, she is Arya.
Tonight, she is safe.
And tonight, she matters. 🐾❤️

Scout made it to his out-of-state foster home this weekend! 🥹🐾🏡

We are SO grateful to his foster family for opening their home and giving this sweet boy an incredible opportunity outside of Texas. Sometimes getting a dog out of the shelter is only the first step—the real magic happens when someone says, “He can come here.”

Now Scout gets the chance to decompress, experience life outside the shelter system, and show everyone just how amazing he really is. ❤️

Here’s to new states, new beginnings, and a whole new chapter for Scout! 🐾✨
