🎆 250 Years of the United States (1776–2026) 🇺🇸
From a bold declaration in 1776 to a thriving nation in 2026, the United States celebrates 250 years of history, resilience, and progress.
This milestone is not only a time to reflect on our past, but also to give glory and honor to God for His faithfulness throughout every generation. Through seasons of challenge and triumph, His providence has sustained and guided this nation.
As we look back, we remember the generations who sacrificed for freedom. As Scripture reminds us, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12).
As we move forward, may we humbly seek God’s guidance, live out Christ’s teachings in our daily lives, and recommit ourselves to loving our neighbors, pursuing righteousness, and walking in truth. Let us stand united—not only in liberty and justice—but also in faith, hope, and love.
As we celebrate 250 years, may we live out this promise:
*“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and...

Happy 4th of July and celebrating 250 years of United States of America!

Thank you to all the Father’s who have shown up and done the hard work!

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸
While we gather with family and friends, let’s take a moment to reflect on the courage, service, and selflessness that make these moments possible. Their legacy lives on in the freedoms we cherish every day.
Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend. ❤️💙

Greater love has no one than this:
to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

On this National Day of Prayer, we pause as a nation to reflect with gratitude on our freedoms and to renew our commitment to faith. We meditate on 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if we humble ourselves and pray, as well as turn from our wicked ways, God will hear us and will forgive us and heal our land.

In times like these, I’m reminded of what people used to say about the 1950s. When storms passed through and left a mess behind, neighbors didn’t wait for recognition or instructions. They simply showed up. Gloves on. Sleeves rolled. Checking on one another. Clearing brush. Sharing tools. Helping—because that’s just what you did.
This cleanup isn’t about one person, one company, or one group. It’s about being human—and dare I say—being American. It’s about looking out for your neighbor. It’s about community, grit, and the quiet pride that comes from doing the right thing without asking for credit.
Storms test us, but they also remind us of who we are. When we come together, like we always have, we show that real strength isn’t found in titles, logos, or recognition—it’s found in people helping people.
Let’s get back to strong neighborhood ties. Let’s know our neighbors. Let’s see cleanup not as an obligation, but as an opportunity to build real relationships—because strong relationships create strong communities.
Texan proud. American proud.
And as one volunteer’s red shirt said it best:
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. LOVE YOUR CITY.
That’s who we are.

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. Matthew 28:6

Jesus is the Savior of the world—the way, the truth, and the life. Because sin separated humanity from God, Jesus lived a perfect life, died, and rose again to rescue us from darkness and bring us into God’s kingdom of light. Salvation is not earned but given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. By believing in Him, confessing him as Lord, repenting, and being baptized, we receive forgiveness of sins, and eternal life.
