Today, we had the honor of presenting Mrs. Kathy Martin, wife of our beloved Robert “Bo” Martin, with a plaque in his memory ❤️‍🩹

Bo was more than an employee at Decatur Youth Services. He was a dedicated servant, a hard worker, a mentor, and an important part of the DYS family. He approached his work with a genuine heart and always gave his best to whatever was placed in front of him. The impact he made on our staff, our programs, and especially the young people we serve will never be forgotten.

Bo’s time with us may have been shorter than we ever wanted, but the relationships he built, the lives he touched, and the example he set will remain a part of DYS for years to come.

Mrs. Kathy, we want you and your family to always know that Bo’s DYS family loves you, supports you, and will continue to honor his memory. His legacy will forever have a place at Decatur Youth Services.

Rest well, Bo. Your work, your heart, and your impact will never be forgotten. ❤️

We had an amazing time at our DYS Staff Development where we got to learn and grow together as a team. 🗒️✍️

We would like to extend a huge thank-you to our wonderful speakers, City of Decatur, Alabama - Government, Leadership, LLC, and ’s Pest Control, Inc., whose words left us informed, encouraged, and inspired.
