Stop trusting your own understanding when God has already given you His Word. We live in a generation that tells us to follow our hearts, trust our instincts, do what feels right, and answer to no one. But God says, ‘Be not wise in thine own eyes.’

You can be convinced you’re right and still be completely wrong. You can justify what God has commanded you to forsake. You can call compromise “grace,” disobedience “freedom,” and pride “standing your ground” But God is not asking us to trust ourselves He is calling us to trust Him.

The fear of the LORD means that when His Word confronts us, we don’t argue with it. We don’t explain it away. We don’t look for a way around it. We humble ourselves and obey.

Today, let the Word of God examine you. Not your feelings. Not your pride. Not what everybody else is doing. Ask yourself: Am I walking in the fear of the LORD, or am I simply doing what seems right in my own eyes?

There is safety in surrender. There is wisdom in humility. And there is blessing in walking away from anything God calls evil even when your flesh wants to hold on.

Lord, keep us from being so convinced that we are right that we become unwilling to hear You. Give us hearts humble enough to be corrected, courage enough to obey, and discernment enough to recognize evil even when it looks good to us.

Amen. 🙏🏽 💙

Peace doesn’t come from having everything figured out it comes from where we set our minds. When our thoughts are consumed with the things of this world, anxiety, fear, and worry can take over. But when we turn our hearts and minds toward the Lord, He gives us life and peace, even when our circumstances haven’t changed.

Set your mind on Christ.
Rest your heart in His promises.
Let Him give you the peace that only He can give.🙏🏽💙

Sometimes the only thing you need to hear is, “Fear not; I will help thee.” 🤍

Whatever you’re facing today, you don’t have to carry it alone. The same God who holds your hand is the God who will help you through it. Trust Him. He’s got you. 🙏🏼💙

Sometimes God has to break up the hard places in us before He can bring forth something beautiful through us.

Hosea 10:12 is a call to stop looking around at the condition of the world and start looking inward at the condition of our own hearts. Before we ask God to change our circumstances, we should ask Him to search us, soften us, and draw us back to Him.

Sow righteousness.
Seek the Lord.
Let Him break up the hard ground.
And trust Him for the rain.

Because when God sends the rain, He can bring life to places that looked completely barren. 💙🙏🏽

We spend so much time trying to figure out the way, making our plans, choosing our direction, and wondering what tomorrow holds. But Scripture reminds us that our lives are not ultimately directed by our own understanding. We may have a plan, but God has the final say. We may see only the next step, but He sees the entire road ahead.

There will be times when the LORD changes our course, closes a door we desperately wanted open, removes people we thought would always be there, or leads us down a path we never would have chosen for ourselves. In those moments, we must remember that God is not confused about where He is taking us.

What feels like a detour to us may be divine direction. What feels like a closed door may be His protection. What feels like waiting may be His preparation.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV

When God is directing your steps, you don’t have to know the destination to trust the Guide. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep obeying. The LORD knows exactly where He is leading you. 🙏🏽💙

In a world where everything changes, Jesus Christ never does. Circumstances change. People change. Seasons come and go. But our Savior remains faithful through it all. What He was yesterday, He is today, and He will be forever.

When everything around us feels uncertain we can rest in the certainty of Christ. His promises have not changed, His love has not changed, and His Word has not changed.

Whatever you are facing today, keep your eyes on the One who never changes. He is still faithful. He is still God. And He is still enough. 🙏🏻💙

There may be a season of sowing that is filled with tears, but God promises that the faithful labor of His people will not be without joy. What is planted in sorrow can by God’s grace produce a harvest of rejoicing.

So don’t despise the season you’re in. Sow faithfully. Trust God with the seed, and leave the harvest in His hands. 🤍🙏🏽
