Leon Sheffield Magnet School- Decatur, Alabama

Congratulations to Higg's Hippies (3rd Grade Champ), Treadway’s Turtles (4th Grade Champ), and Boyd's Bobcats (5th Grade Champ) on winning the Sheff Cup

During Hispanic Heritage Month, we learned about soccer legend Lionel Messi, who led Argentina to its first World Cup win in 2022 and has won six Ballon d'Or awards. Messi says, "You must fight to reach your dream," and our Sheff Cup players showed that spirit on the field!

Every player showed teamwork, sportsmanship, and heart. Whether you scored a goal, made a save, or cheered from the sidelines, you made this tournament special.

Thank you to our players, teachers, Coach Keith, Coach Kross, our high school student volunteers, and families who came out to support them!

Enjoy your Fall Break, Leon Sheffield! ¡Buena suerte! 🍂
