Revisiting the award-winning renovation of the Ga***rd Palms Old Hickory Steakhouse in Kissimmee, Florida, recognized by AIA Atlanta (American Institute of Architects) in 2024.

Our structural design was an integral contribution to the key areas that brought this new restaurant design to life, specifically the steel framing for expanded walkways and seating areas, more expansive wall openings and open floor plans, and the thoughtfully designed exposition kitchen. Congratulations again to our client Workshop and the entire project team on this recognition.

Another new library taking shape!

Our team provided structural engineering services for this new 12,000-square-foot public library, featuring light-framed wood construction with exposed heavy timber framing at the exterior decks and porches. The structural design was carefully coordinated with large storefront windows, stone veneer, and exposed timber elements that help define the building’s character.

We enjoyed working with TSW Design to develop an efficient structural system that supports both the library’s functional needs and architectural vision.

There’s always room for a good neighborhood dive bar.

We enjoyed providing structural engineering for The Westwood on Ralph David Abernathy, a local spot designed with all the character of a classic dive.

It was great to be a part of the renovations for Johns Homestead Park in Tucker, Georgia. We assisted with several features including the distinctive V-shaped fishing pier, boardwalk approaches and foundations, pedestrian bridge abutments, and coordinated with on structural details and prefabricated bridge systems.
