📚🌈 A Bad Case of Stripes… and Lima Beans! 🫘💚

Mrs. Chapman’s class brought A Bad Case of Stripes to life today! After reading the story, students got to be brave taste-testers and try lima beans just like Camilla Cream! 😋

Some students discovered a new favorite, while others decided lima beans might not be for them—and that’s okay! 😂 We love when a great book turns into a fun, hands-on learning experience.

🎭 Learning Through Drama!

Today, our students had so much fun with our amazing drama teacher, Mrs. Ladner, playing a game called “Statue!” Students worked together in groups to use their bodies to create one object.

This fun activity helped them practice teamwork, planning, communication, and creativity while working together to bring their ideas to life! They created objects like a spider, bicycle, airplane, clock, train, French fries, and so much more! 🎬👏

What a fun and creative way to learn! ⭐

Mrs.Malinowski’s class read Pigeon books by Mo Willems this week! They identified character traits and even got to make their very own Pigeons!

🌋📚 What a fun day of learning in Mrs. Fisher’s class! Today, her class shared what they already knew about volcanoes, watched a video to learn more, and used a map to find where volcanoes are located around the world. Then, they made their very own volcano.🌋 They also read the book My Mouth Is a Volcano and talked about ways we can be good listeners and wait our turn to speak. So much learning and fun all in one day! ❤️
