It’s that time of year again! Kids are heading back to school, buses are back on the roads, and our mornings are about to get a little busier.

As everyone gets back into the school routine, remember to slow down in school zones, watch for buses and kids crossing the road, and please put the phone down while you're driving.

As our kids head back to school, let’s all look out for each other. If you see something that doesn’t look right or something that could put a student or school in danger, say something. When in doubt, it’s always better to speak up.

Some days there just aren’t words.

Deputies and EMS responded to a possible drowning event involving a 1 yr old. They rendered aid and escorted the child to Decatur Morgan Hospital. The child is now being transferred to Children's Hospital.

Please join us in praying for the child, his family, the medical teams and the first responders that responded to the scene.
