What better way to celebrate Physical Therapy Month than by highlighting the many ways physical therapy can support a child’s movement, participation, and independence.

For children who struggle with gross-motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, or motor planning, everyday activities can require extra effort.

Physical therapy uses individualized, play-based activities to help children build the skills they need to move more safely and confidently at home, at school, and in the community.
