🐾 **Remembering the heroes of 9/11.** 🇺🇸

Not only were there so many human heroes on this day but there were also many 4-legged ones!

On September 11, 2001, countless brave search-and-rescue dogs worked tirelessly alongside their handlers, searching through the rubble and bringing comfort to those in need.

Some of the best-known 9/11 dogs include:

**Bretagne** — Golden Retriever, worked at Ground Zero and later became famous for her service career. (a Texas a girl 😄)
**Trakr** — German Shepherd, credited with helping locate survivor Genelle Guzman-McMillan.
**Riley** — Golden Retriever, worked at Ground Zero searching for survivors and remains.
**Apollo** — German Shepherd, one of the first search-and-rescue dogs to arrive at Ground Zero.
**Sirius** — Labrador Retriever, an NYPD bomb-detection dog who died in the South Tower.

There were hundreds of search-and-rescue dogs involved in the response and recovery efforts, including dogs from FEMA teams, police departments, fire departments, and volunteer organizations.

They asked for nothing in return — only to do their job. ❤️🐾

Skunks 🦨 are OUT in full force and they bring their friends and family with them!
If you have a sprinkler system and have green grass they will find it!
👇🏻This stuff works! Don’t worry about mixing up the concoction yourself at 5 am when you let the dog out in the dark….don’t ask me how I know. 🤦🏼‍♀️ $12…can’t beat that!

You may have to navigate around the streets to get to us! So sorry for the inconvenience!

The HEAT 🌡️ is dangerous…add anxiety and a car ride..it’s a recipe for disaster!

Well how was the first day of school?? 🚌💨
I bet the pets missed the kids and all the attention from summer or maybe they enjoyed the peace and quiet!
