On Sunday, August 16, we’re excited to welcome The Platonics and The Amazing Mongooses to Zone of Light Studio for another SunDaze in the Zone concert.

If you’ve never visited Zone of Light Studio, this is the perfect excuse. Our listening room isn’t your typical music venue—it’s an inviting, creative space where you can settle in, bring your favorite food and drinks, and enjoy an evening of great local music without the crowds or high concession prices.

We only ask that you help us keep the studio beautiful by limiting glass, cleaning up after yourselves, and taking your recyclables home.

We’re easy to reach from both Scott Boulevard and North Decatur Road. There are 40 free parking spaces around the building, with additional free parking in the Walmart garage directly across the street.

Our venue offers a large stage along with a mix of tables, chairs, and benches. If you’d like to reserve a table, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance through Venmo:

🎟️ Tickets are $15 per person in advance or at the door. Walk-ins are always welcome, but reserved table seating is available only for advance purchases.

Last week in the Meadow Room, Ms. Normadelle’s campers became treasure hunters, storytellers, and artists all at once! 🏴‍☠️✨

Using paint, mixed media, and plenty of imagination, campers designed and decorated their own treasure boxes—each one filled with unique details and hidden surprises. Some boxes held “gold” and jewels, while others protected secret maps, special keepsakes, and treasures only their creators could discover.

One of the best parts of camp is watching a simple project become something completely different in every child’s hands. No two treasure boxes were alike, and every camper left with a masterpiece that told their own story.
