2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV) Key Verse
He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.

Testimony Tuesday!!! Let's hear how Jenny has let Jesus work in her life and how He can work in yours too!

Addiction wasn’t the problem.
It was the solution.

The problem was the pain underneath it.

The rejection.
The trauma.
The loneliness.
The shame.
The anger.
The grief.
The feeling that you were never enough.

Addiction became a way to numb what hurt, escape what felt unbearable, or fill what felt empty.

That’s why recovery is about more than just stopping a behavior.

At Celebrate Recovery, we begin to uncover the hurts, hang-ups, and habits underneath it all and allow Jesus to heal what we’ve spent years trying to numb.

You don’t just need freedom from something.
You need healing from what drove you to it.

There is hope. There is healing. And there is freedom. ❤️‍🩹

Wow- stop protecting our pride and start embracing God's truth!!! Yes, that is Freedom!

Did you know that defensiveness can be a hang-up?

Sometimes our first reaction is to explain ourselves, justify what we did, shift the blame, or shut down completely.

Recovery requires us to be willing to look at ourselves… even when it’s uncomfortable.

Defensiveness says, “I need to prove I’m right.”
Recovery says, “God, show me what I need to see.”

There is freedom in becoming teachable. There is growth in taking responsibility. And there is healing when we stop protecting our pride and allow God to change our hearts.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to come to Celebrate Recovery. You just have to be willing to take the next step. 🧡

August Challenge!

🌿 AUGUST is a Fresh Start. 🌿

A new month is a reminder that God's mercies are new every morning and His grace is sufficient for every step of our recovery journey.

Whether you're just beginning, returning after being away, or continuing to walk faithfully, August is another opportunity to grow closer to Christ and experience the freedom He offers.

Here's our August Challenge:

A – Accept God's grace one day at a time.
U – Understand you were never meant to recover alone.
G – Grow through honesty, not perfection.
U – Use your story to encourage someone else.
S – Surrender what you cannot control.
T – Trust Jesus with every step of your recovery.

Recovery isn't about having a perfect past—it's about taking the next faithful step with Jesus today.

📖 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new month and a fresh start. Help us to walk in honesty, surrender our fears, trust You completely, and extend Your grace to others. Strengthen us to take the next right step each day, knowing You are with us through every victory and every struggle. Continue transforming our hearts and drawing us closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

➕🙌🏽❤️ If you're looking for hope and healing, we invite you to join a Celebrate Recovery meeting near you.
