September 16th (Wednesday) - Parade in Boyd to celebrate Charles Braun 100th birthday, 0945
September 19th (Saturday) - Breakfast, Decatur Conference Center, RSVP Required
September 25th (Friday) - Health Fair at Decatur Conference Center, 9:00am-1:00pm

The Wise County Veterans Memorial Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday noon to 4:00pm, as well as the third Saturday of every month!! Come take a tour!!

(recommend you get there at 7:30am for breakfast if you want some extra coffee and chit chat time)
*NOTE: We are now asking you, if at all possible, to RSVP by Tuesday 6pm, your total attendance at all our Saturday Breakfasts.

Our refrigerator (shown here) is on its last legs. This is at our Wise County Veterans Museum in Bridgeport. We are asking if there is anyone who might be able to donate a replacement, or at least if we could get one very reasonably priced. The maximum size is listed in the photo. Thank you.

Our World War II Veteran, Charles Braun , along with 2 other WWII veterans, were invited to Washington DC for the 250th Independence Day Celebration. They were given a Commemorative Coin by the President. Charlie is traveling home today.

Our Memorial Day Program turned out great. Thank you to all who participated.

While at the Veterans Park in Decatur Texas this morning for our Memorial Day Program, our Commander asked for ALL Veterans in attendance to join for a group photo. This was followed by a group photo of our Wise County Veterans Group who were present, then a photo of the spouses of our members.

Come see us at the Tractor Supply in Decatur Texas! We are raising funds for our Wreaths Across America program. We will be here until 2:00pm

Please stop by the Tractor Supply in Decatur Texas between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm tomorrow, Saturday May 23, and help us raise funds for this year's Wreaths Across America program. Our Veterans will be there and we would love to see you too! Any amount will help us reach our goal.
