Over the next few days, you’re going to start noticing some changes around here as The Burlap Barn transitions into The Lyrical Spirit.🫶🏼

TLS is where my part of all of this moves forward —> the tees, the designs, the boutique side, retail, wholesale… all of it coming together under one brand and one direction.

And because apparently I am physically incapable of not having a little place for pretty things… 😂

TLS will have a retail home. 👀🛍️📬🖤

The location is secured.
I LOVE it.
And I genuinely think y’all are going to love it too.

I’m not telling you where just yet. 😏

Not because I’m trying to keep secrets but because I want to honor what is happening right now before I rush into what’s next.

Every decision I’ve made through this transition has been carefully considered, talked through, prayed over, and then prayed over some more.

And somehow, while one door has been closing, the Lord has continued to organically open others without me forcing a dang thing. (Which is wild bc I’m known to steal His pen to write with 🫣🤓)

SO I’M TRUSTING IT!!!

For the next couple of days, my heart belongs to The Burlap Barn and finishing this chapter well. 🤍

Then, before the end of the month…I’ll show you where we’re going next. 🙌🏼 And apparently y’all know me better than I thought. 😂

Calais isn’t done. ✦ wasn’t planned but He is WORKING!!

Also… this guy has been by my side through it all. Every incredible day and every really hard one. He has also been our 24/7 Handyman. 🫶🏼

I want to clear something up because I’ve realized there may be a little confusion as we head into our final week at The Burlap Barn.

We are all VERY MUCH still in business.

The Burlap Barn storefront may be closing its doors, but the incredible small businesses that have filled these walls are simply continuing on!! Just not all under one roof anymore.

And if there’s one thing I want to do before we close these doors, it’s make sure you know exactly where to find everyone next.

For almost six years, this little building has been home to so many talented makers, creators, dreamers and small-business owners. You’ve bought their products, shared their names, told your friends about them and helped their businesses grow. Please don’t stop now. 🙏🏼💕

I had planned to spend these last few weeks at the Barn soaking up every minute with y’all. But Dolly and the internet had other plans. 😵‍💫😂

You’ve probably seen our Dolly shirt in the store 🖤 it’s been TLS’s number-one seller for four years. With so many people planning to honor her and “9 to 5” on September 25, thousands of shirts were ordered with just a few weeks to get them printed to over 200 boutiques. 👀

So here we are: DAY 23 behind the printer. And this picture is what’s still left. 👀

It’s been humbling and felt like the biggest hug from the Lord but goodness, I’ve missed giving hugs to MY people.

Next week, I’ll be at the Barn as much as possible. Please come see me!! I want time for all the hugs, tears, laughs and prayers as we close this chapter together. 🥹🙏🏼

Okay, before I tell you where we’re going, I should probably explain what y’all have actually been looking at for the last several years. 👀😂

Most people think The Burlap Barn and The Lyrical Spirit (TLS) are the same business.

They aren’t. 🙂‍↔️

THE BURLAP BARN is our retail boutique!! The clothing, accessories, vendors and physical storefront you walk into. 💕

THE LYRICAL SPIRIT | TLS is our design and printing company. Since 2022, we have created the graphic tees you see inside the Barn, but we also serve retail customers, wholesale boutiques, businesses, schools, teams and organizations needing bulk or custom apparel.

Two separate businesses • Same owner 🤓 me!

A ridiculous amount of crossover. And approximately zero effort from me to make the difference clear. 😂

But here’s the big news 💝
For the first time, they ARE becoming one.

The physical Barn storefront will close September 26, but the Barn isn’t disappearing.

And since she’s front and center in this picture…that little black building is the new home of TLS. 🏡

It sits on our property in Paradise and is now our printing, production and fulfillment warehouse. It is not a new walk-in storefront. Shopping is moving online but it is where your orders, new collections and this entire next chapter will be built.

We will also continue offering local pickup in Paradise and Decatur. 🙌🏼

Boutique clothing, graphic tees and products from select Barn vendors will all continue under The Lyrical Spirit, with a dedicated BARN section on our new website.
