💙 A Note About Donations to CCC
Thank you for how generously this community shows up for CCC. Every week, people bring clothing, furniture, household items, and food because they want to help their neighbors. That matters more than we can say.
We do need to ask for something, though. When a donation is broken, stained, incomplete, or otherwise unusable, we can't pass it on to a family. Our staff and volunteers end up sorting it, storing it, hauling it, and paying to throw it away. That's time and money that should be going to the people we serve.
So before you drop something off, please ask yourself: would I give this to a friend? If it's clean, safe, complete, and usable, we'd love to have it.
And if you're not sure what to do with something, that's not a reason to bring it to us. CCC can't be a disposal service, and there are a lot of things we can't accept. We've put together some simple donation guidelines to help. Please take a look before you load up the car.
Our goal isn't to take in more. It's to make sure what comes in actually reaches someone who needs it.
Thank you for thinking of us. 💙

What is a Giving Machine❓
A Giving Machine is a special vending machine that allows you to donate items or services to charities.
Instead of dispensing snacks, they offer options to purchase items like meals, warm showers, new clothes, or livestock for those in need. 💧🐓🧼
100% of your donations go directly to global and local charities to help change lives around the world. 🌎 💞
All operational costs for the Giving Machine initiative are covered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
