Perimeter College’s Dunwoody Campus celebrated its inaugural Dental Hygiene White Coat Ceremony, welcoming the Class of 2027 into the profession.💙🐾

Students received their white coats and recited the Professional Oath, marking the beginning of a journey rooted in compassion, professionalism and patient care.

A special thank you to Program Director Dr. Joanna Harris-Worelds and our dedicated dental hygiene faculty for helping make this milestone possible and for supporting our students every step of the way.

Our nursing students participated in a health fair at the Clarkston Library designed to promote health awareness and support wellness within the college student population. Through the event, students applied their knowledge by delivering evidence-based health education, developing culturally appropriate health promotion materials and engaging participants in meaningful conversations about health risks and prevention strategies. The experience also strengthened students' teamwork and professional collaboration skills as they planned, implemented and evaluated the project while meeting shared responsibilities and deadlines. 💙🐾
