We got ranked #1 and somehow everybody’s homework assignment is to prove we’re not. 😂

And before y’all get messy, we LOVE the restaurant ranked 2. This ain’t about them. Good food is good food, and there’s room for everybody to eat.

We’re just over here wondering when the rebuttal essays are due. 😂

For two years, Laurence has been part of this thing with us.

He did right by us. We did right by him.

And before anybody starts making up a story 😂 — no, he isn’t being fired. He isn’t quitting mad. There is no drama.

The man has simply decided it’s time to follow his dream.

Laurence has ALWAYS wanted to work at the carnival.

So our guy is leaving Che Butter Jonez to begin his next chapter as the smoked turkey leg man at the carnival. 😂😂😂

We couldn’t even make this s**t up.

All jokes aside, it’s rare to have somebody work beside you for two years and be able to part ways with nothing but love and respect. Laurence showed up for us, worked hard, and became part of our story.

So while watching him mop this floor one last time feels a little strange, we’re happy he gets to go do something he’s always wanted to do.

Go sell the hell out them turkey legs, Laurence. ❤️

We love that we’re so popular!!!! We love that we’re considered “the best.” We had a full house pretty much as soon as we opened the doors. Thanks, Infatuation 🤣 We love that too.

But we’ve said this plenty of times: when you are behind 20 orders, your food is not going to come out in 5 minutes.

There is no way to get it out faster. Being rude won’t make it come out faster. Repeating that you’ve been waiting 20 minutes won’t make it come out faster.

We aren’t ill-prepared. We are just SLAMMED all day.

And remember, we don’t have just one cheeseburger. We have a WHOLE menu. We can’t just run and gun burgers all day because everybody came for the burger. 😂 We know what the lists say.

We met some incredible people while vending here this year. This was the second year they reached out to us to participate, but the first year we were actually selected, and what an experience it has been.

What Mastercard and Capital One Business are doing for small, local businesses through this tour is incredible. The exposure, the opportunity, the access... all of it.

Now ask me what’s in my wallet. 😍😂
