What a beautiful day it was for some Sweet Harmonies yesterday! Huge thanks to Rudy Barajas for the opportunity, and for special ordering perfect weather and a beautiful venue! The Ukuladies is a Boston based 5-piece band fronted by vocal harmony duo Kirsten Hart and Stephanie Stetson. The story of The Ukuladies harkens back to a secluded cabin deep in the woods. That is where a group of ladies convened with the instruction
to bring an instrument of their choice. They all showed up with ukuleles. Stephanie quips, “Oh no, a group of ladies gathering deep in the woods, that doesn’t sound witchy
at all!” No matter, because the potion they cooked up that weekend ended up being truly magic.

Kirsten and Stephanie, both of the New England Conservatory of
Music, emerged as The Ukuladies. They had one problem though. One lady who misheard the recipe for the magic potion, brought way too much glitter. “What do we do with all this glitter?”, they asked. Kirsten and Steph came up with the perfect solution.
They found three more talented musicians and sprinkled it all over the band. And there you have it. The Ukuladies, a glittery, high-energy band that is deeply rooted in amazing vocal harmonies, was born! If you have the chance to check them out, be prepared to kick off your shoes and dance! The “Ladies” will make you move!

The one who shares her musical genius with us! Each one of the Ukuladies is honored to share the stage with her, and proud to call her a friend. She is our ultimate uke-shredding bestie!
