👟 Are young athletes learning to move correctly—or just burning energy? Identifying and correcting movement dysfunctions early is the key to building athletic confidence and preventing long-term injury.
Our Youth Performance and Junior Privates programs (ages 8–12, including sibling groups!) focus on establishing rock-solid movement foundations, athletic deceleration, and fundamental strength so young athletes stay healthy and confident as they grow.

🚨 Triaging injuries is my education. Building better versions of athletes is my expertise.
Those two things are not the same.
Sports medicine taught me how to evaluate an injury, understand what failed, recognize what needs protection, and determine who needs to be involved.
Twenty-plus years around athletes taught me something else:
Getting someone healthy is only half the job.
🧠 In this case, my role is to help benholtschlag.8 answer what comes next.
✅ What weakness existed before the injury?
✅ What capacity disappeared during rehabilitation?
✅ What demands will their sport expose them to again?
✅ Who belongs on their medical and performance team?
✅ How do we make sure they return better prepared than before?
❌ I don’t need to be the physical therapist.
❌ I don’t need to be the surgeon.
❌ I don’t need to pretend I know everything.
My expertise is connecting the pieces, collaborating with people who are exceptional at what they do, and then building an athlete capable of handling more than the version who got hurt.
Rehabilitation gets you back.
Development should make sure you’re different when you get there.
Triaging injuries is my education.
Building better versions of athletes is my expertise.
🚨 What if you could reduce your risk of a major sports injury… before it ever happened?
After nearly 13 years refining The SP Method, one result continues to stand above the rest.
Just 10 ACL tears across more than 5,000 athletes.
That didn’t happen by accident.
It happened because we learned to identify movement patterns before they became injuries.
🧠 That’s why we’re launching the Stadium Performance Movement Lab.
✅ Every athlete completes a movement screening.
✅ We identify the movement patterns that increase injury susceptibility.
✅ You receive 4–5 individualized corrective exercises based on your specific findings.
✅ Most protocols take just 10–12 minutes to complete.
✅ We retest, reinforce, and continue building more durable athletes.
This isn’t about chasing perfection.
It’s about identifying the small movement habits that quietly increase injury risk and correcting them before they become a season-ending problem.
😱 We’re not trying to create fear.
We’re creating clarity.
Soon, every local athlete—not just those who train at Stadium Performance—will have access to the same injury susceptibility screening that has helped shape The SP Method for more than a decade.
The goal has never been to make better patients.
The goal is to dramatically reduce the chances you’ll ever become one.
Genetics are everything. Has a family member torn their ACL?

⚡ What is The SP Method?
We solve the training disconnect that leaves talented athletes plateaued and injury-prone. The SP Method prepares you for the demands of competition through 8 Core Components:
1. Strength: Functional muscle development
2. Power: Explosive bursts of speed
3. Mobility: Full range of joint movement
4. Endurance: Repeatable athletic performance
5. Timing: Sport-specific training variance
6. Health: Optimized recovery and nutrition
7. Open Communication: Keeping parents and athletes informed
8. Deceleration: Mastering change of direction safely
Train with purpose. Perform with power.

🚨 Everything worth gaining comes with a tradeoff.
In sports, training, business, relationships, and finance, the same rule keeps showing up:
You give something to get something.
CADDIX cleats use studs designed to rotate and bend.
✅ Less ground friction may reduce rotational stress.
✅ More movement under the foot may increase ground-contact time.
✅ That could help protect the athlete.
✅ It could also cost performance.
The same tradeoff exists in the 40-yard dash.
Crowd the line and you may gain more distance on the first step—but lose force if your hip and ankle mobility cannot support the position.
Back up into comfort and you may produce more force—but sacrifice horizontal projection.
There is no perfect position.
There is only the best position for the athlete, the goal, and the moment.
Performance is not about eliminating tradeoffs. It is about choosing the right one.
🚨 The only trap bar deadlift we perform at Stadium Performance starts from an elevated surface.
There is a reason.
☝️ We understand our role in an athlete’s journey.
Before college, every training day is an opportunity to maximize development through every available range of motion—especially the weakest angles.
We do not care about your trap bar max. Your future coach probably won’t either.
🧠 We care about what the movement develops.
✅ Greater range of motion from the ground.
✅ More injury preventative strength from deeper hip and knee angles.
✅ Increased demand on the glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps.
✅ Greater trunk stiffness and spinal control.
✅ Strength that supports durability and long-term availability.
The elevated position forces the athlete to create tension from a deeper starting point. The glutes and hamstrings must extend the hips. The quadriceps must drive through greater knee flexion. The trunk, lats, upper back, and grip must stabilize the entire system.
A higher handle may allow more weight, but a deeper start develops more athlete.
Our job is not to help a teenager win the trap bar deadlift.
Our job is to build enough strength, durability, and availability for coaches to discover them, recruit them, and keep them on the field.
We don’t train the number. We train the athlete behind it.

🏈⚽ Fall Pre-Season Starts Now.
Random workouts lead to random results. At Stadium Performance, every day in our training week has a clear, structured intent to build strength and power that transfers directly to competition:
* Monday: Lower Body Strength
* Tuesday: Upper Body Strength
* Wednesday: Lower Body Power
* Thursday: Upper Body Power
* Friday: Speed, Agility, or Make-up Session
Build functional strength, improve repeatability, and outlast the competition this fall.

🚨 Parents aren’t paying for a gym. They’re investing in a lifetime of experience.
Every day at Stadium Performance, athletes receive far more than sets and reps.
Every conversation is an opportunity to teach. Every correction is an opportunity to improve. Every question deserves an answer.
🧠 What you’ll hear on any given day:
✅ Why one cleat may reduce injury risk while another increases it.
✅ How to identify the source of pain instead of simply treating symptoms.
✅ The biomechanics behind every exercise and every cue.
✅ The math that determines acceleration, top-end speed, and performance.
✅ Lessons learned from decades of winning, losing, rehabbing, coaching, and mentoring athletes at every level.
Parents don’t trust us with their children because we own barbells.
They trust us because we’ve built a vault of knowledge that can’t be found in a textbook.
The weights build strength.
The conversations build athletes.
🚨 Preventing ankle sprains is built into the programming at Stadium Performance.
Instability resistance training will never be our primary tool for building monumental strength.
That isn’t its job.
Its value is developing the balance and control athletes need when force, fatigue, contact, and unpredictable surfaces challenge a single leg.
🧠 A 2025 systematic review evaluated 20 moderate- to high-quality studies across athletes in soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, gymnastics, track and field, combat sports, and several other disciplines.
The findings showed that instability resistance training can significantly improve:
✅ Static balance.
✅ Dynamic balance.
✅ Reciprocal balance during movement.
✅ Single-leg control in unstable environments.
✅ The athlete’s ability to react and stabilize when position changes.
The research does not prove that standing on unstable surfaces directly prevents every ankle sprain.
It does support improving the balance qualities that contribute to ankle control—and that matters in sports where athletes land, cut, collide, and recover on one leg.
At SP, we don’t replace heavy strength training with instability work.
We use single-leg instability training as one deliberate layer inside a complete program.
Strength creates force. Balance helps the athlete control it.
