Scout the wonder dog here! Yesterday my humans headed out to South Natick to see the deconstruction of the South Natick Dam on the Charles River. I think this is the first of several dams that will be removed from the river. For more info check out the Charles River Watershed Associations web page.

Healey throws support behind conservation ballot question 07/29/2026

This is great news for Question 6, Protect Water & Nature, which will appear on the November ballot.

Healey throws support behind conservation ballot question Asked if she has a position on any of the questions yet, Healey told GBH's Jim Braude and Margery Eagan, "Not on all of them, and you know, there are some that I've sort of taken a closer look at as a matter of priority," before mentioning the conservation measure.

The Dedham Greenspace Coalition was proud to take part in today's official launch of Question 6: Protect Water and Nature on the Charles River Esplanade.

As a member of the Nature For MA Coalition, the DGC has been helping support the effort to bring this important ballot initiative before Massachusetts voters this November.

The DGC's Carol Hills and Cyndi Bonani were joined by Charles River Watershed Association Executive Director Emily Norton, as they waved the DGC banner from the dock overlooking the Charles River. Some Question 6 supporters celebrated by jumping into the river to show their intent to make the Charles (even more) swimmable!

We're excited to be part of this statewide coalition working to create a permanent fund to protect and enhance Massachusetts' parks, trails, rivers, forests, and other natural places for generations to come.

Vote Yes on Question 6!
