...COULDN'T ASK FOR BETTER FALL WEATHER...
[10.5.26 6:40 A.M.]
Not much to discuss this morning. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 40's this morning. We'll rise into the mid 60's today with plenty of sunshine.
Sunshine can be expected the rest of the week and lasting into the upcoming weekend. Highs will be in the low 70's with low temperatures in the upper 40's.
Anyone wanting to see snow yet? If so, when do you think we will see our first flakes of snow?
Have a great Monday!

…DRY WEEK AHEAD…
[10/4/2026 7:00 AM]
We will see a couple of cold fronts this week—one later today and another mid-week. But the air mass ahead and behind those fronts is quite dry and we won’t see any rain for the next seven days.
So give your flowers a little water and enjoy your gardens for a little bit longer—be prepared for the next few nights with some old sheets to throw over the tender ones in the event we get a little patchy frost.
The maps I am posting show the earliest, latest, and average first freeze dates for Ohio in recent history. Some of us may be a little sad to see the summer leave us but there is something magical about that time between the first frosts (when the mosquitoes die) and the true hard freeze that drives most of us into hibernation.
Everyone have a beautiful Sunday!

…BEAUTIFUL AND COOL FALL WEEKEND…
[10/3/2026 6:55 AM]
Many of us are waking up in the mid to upper 40s this morning. Clouds are finally clearing out and it should be a beautiful day with highs in the upper 60s.
Temperatures will be a little warmer tomorrow into the low to mid 70s ahead of another cold front, but this front will be dry. High pressure from Canada will push in bringing us another cool down Monday and Tuesday with temperatures about 10 degrees below normal. We could see some patchy frost early next week in low lying or unprotected areas.
Everyone enjoy the beautiful weather while we can! I’ll be out looking for the migrating birds still passing through. I had one hummingbird on Thursday who stopped to refill on her way south.

...SUMMER TEMPS TODAY TURNING COOLER FOR THE WEEKEND...
[10.1.26 6:45 A.M.]
Stepping out early this morning you can tell there is a little more moisture in the air compared to the last few days. Clouds will be around once again today but I wouldn't be shocked if we see the sun a few times today. Even without the sun we will still warm into the mid 80's this afternoon.
A cold front will arrive by tomorrow morning. Showers with an isolated storm will push through the area on Friday. We'll only warm or remain steady in the mid to upper 60's tomorrow. As the cold front pushes through tomorrow. Temperatures will start to fall slowly during the afternoon back into the upper 50's. Most areas should see about 1/4" to 1" of rain out of this system tomorrow.
The upcoming weekend will be dry with temperatures in the mid 60's on Saturday and near 70 on Sunday. Another cold front Sunday night will bring much cooler weather for next week.
The image attached shows our area should see average rain for the month of October.
Have a great Thursday!

Areas of fog are developing this morning, especially along river valleys, with some overland fog that may be locally dense. Fog should burn off shortly after daybreak. Visibility can change quickly, so use low beams, keep extra distance, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

...SUNNY & PLEASANT WEATHER THRU THURSDAY...
[9.28.26 6:30 A.M.]
The weather over the past weekend was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better first weekend of fall weather. This pattern will last through Thursday before a cold front arrives along with some moisture from hurricane Polo. It's still a little to early to determine how much rain we will get as there are some disagreements in how much rain we will see. Behind the cold front, much cooler air will arrive for the upcoming weekend lasting through next week.
Until then we will see sunny skies through Thursday with high temperatures in the mid 70's and low temperatures at night will be in the low to mid 50's. Some isolated areas of fog will be possible Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Have a great Monday!
