October is shaping up to be an amazing month full of author visits, storytimes, book clubs, release parties, and other special events! Can't wait to do them all together!

Banned Books Week is right around the corner, and it's such an important time to take part. It's a week when librarians, teachers, authors, publishers, booksellers, and readers all come together to celebrate the freedom to read, support the free and open access to information, and fight against the harms of censorship.

You can join in by coming to one of our Banned Books Week events:

📚 Banned Books Week Storytime on October 4th at 4pm with
special guest storyteller, children's book author Tyson Bell. We'll.
read some classic books that have been banned over the years,
as well as some of Tyson's books, and do some fun activities!
📚 Silent Book Club Banned Books Read-In with Libro.fm on
October 6th at Oak & Brazen. Just bring your current read and
join in with fellow book lovers as we read and take action to fight
book bans!

While our store was undergoing a little renovation yesterday, we went on a tour of some of our fellow Central Ohio Bookstores! We had such a good time meeting other booksellers and finding some treasures to bring home with us. We didn't have time to go to all of them, so we're going to have to do it again!
