Lightbridge Academy

If you desire a high-quality early childhood educational program... that is what we offer! We know the transformative role we play in the lives of children and parents and we take it very seriously. Our educational child care center provides a professional yet nurturing home-away-from-home environment where you and your child will feel comfortable.

This week, our little learners had a BLAST learning all about fire safety! 🧑‍🚒❤️ We talked about ways to stay safe, the importance of firefighters, and what to do in case of an emergency!

A HUGE thank you to the Delran Fire Department for taking time out of their busy day to visit us and make Fire Safety Week extra special! ❤️ Our friends loved getting an up-close look at the fire truck and learning from our local heroes!🚒🧯

As a member of our Lightbridge Academy family, you’ll feel confident about leaving your child in our care, knowing they will be 😀 happy, surrounded by ❤️ love, guided with purpose and inspired to 📖 learn!

Stop, drop and roll…It’s Fire Safety Week! 🔥

A big part of our Lightbridge Academy curriculum is ensuring students learn the basics of safety practices. Throughout each center’s week of activities, students are able to get hands-on experience fighting “fires”, touring fire trucks, crawling under “smoke”, and learning to call 9-1-1.

🏠 Parent Homework: keep the learning going at home! While fire safety is still fresh in their minds, take time as a family to create or review your home fire safety plan. Identify your exits, choose a meeting spot and practice what everyone should do in case of an emergency.

‘Tis spooky season! 👻 If you want to know if it’s too early to dress your little one in that costume, the answer is never! 😉

What costumes are you planning with your child this season?

We LOVE Pajama Day at Lightbridge Academy of Delran! 😴💤 Who doesn’t love getting to wear their PJs to school?! Our friends had the coziest day! 🧸✨

We celebrated our NACHO average staff for scoring a 94% on our QA Audit! 🌮🎉

That definitely called for a celebration! Thank you to our amazing team for all of your hard work, dedication, and everything you do each day for our children and families. 💛

Behind every meaningful learning experience is a team that’s always learning, too.

Each year, every one of our centers hosts a Professional Development Day, giving our teachers and staff time to come together, prepare for the days ahead and make sure we’re all aligned on what’s next. From discussing upcoming initiatives to planning lessons, activities and meaningful learning experiences, every detail is thoughtfully considered with our young learners in mind.

Because creating an exceptional early learning experience takes a team working together behind the scenes to make this the best year yet! 📚

Preschool vs Daycare…what’s the difference?

Our CEO, Gigi Schweikert, joined a panel of experts on Care.com to help explain.

✨Our students have taught us to think creatively.
✨Our students have taught us to live authentically.
✨Our students have taught us to love with our whole hearts.

Now it’s your turn. What has your child taught you?

Our little learners had an apple-solutely amazing week exploring everything about apples! 🍏🍎 From tasting different apples and applesauce to creating apple stamp art and going on fun apple hunts, they learned through hands-on activities that spark curiosity. 🎨 Learning is always sweeter when we explore, create, and have fun together! ✨🍏

Our educators encourage children with a "learning is fun" 🤸‍♂️ philosophy through play, accompanied by positive reinforcement and builds upon the skills they acquire at various ages and stages of their development.

👉Each classroom is designed with learning centers to offer children the ability to engage in teacher-led activities, child-led interests and individual play
