We lost an entire collection in a fire, and later, tariffs forced us to step away from wholesale, leaving us with thousands of units of inventory. Somewhere along the way, creating started to feel more like survival than joy.

I wasn’t sketching. I wasn’t chasing ideas. I simply stopped creating. As a designer, that was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to admit.

Being surrounded by fabrics, trims, textures, and endless possibilities made something click. It felt like coming home.

I left New York with a renewed sense of confidence, a notebook full of ideas, and a feeling I haven’t had in a long time. I can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Creativity isn’t something I turn on when the workday begins or off when it ends. It’s woven into the way I see the world.

I’ve learned that the most meaningful work comes from living fully, staying curious, and saying yes to experiences that expand your perspective. Every chapter, every passion, every place, and every conversation becomes part of the story I’m creating.

Most people know me for fashion, color, and design, but one of the places I feel most creative is right here in my garden🪻🪴

I spend time here almost every day. Planting, pruning, rearranging, getting my hands dirty, and watching something slowly come to life. It is where I go to slow down, reset, and reconnect with the kind of creativity that cannot be rushed.

I have always loved working with my hands. Whether I am designing a dress, transforming a room, creating a destination like my home The Fernwood, or nurturing this little world outside my home, I am always thinking about how color, texture, and feeling can completely change an experience.

Getting to share the garden with my daughter makes it even more special. I love teaching her that beautiful things take patience, care, imagination, and a willingness to dig in🪴🌷

One of the easiest ways to help your garden thrive is to group plants with similar watering needs. It keeps your routine simple and makes sure every plant gets exactly what it needs without overwatering or drying out!

Sometimes plants just need a little support to reach new heights. Adding stakes early helps guide their growth, keeps stems strong, and gives them room to grow upward!

The best part of growing something beautiful is getting to share it with the people you love most. A few fresh herbs, flowers, or vegetables from the garden can make the sweetest little gift. A garden becomes even more special when it is shared. Grow a little extra, gather what is ready, and pass it along to someone you love!
