Students who show their Livingston Parish Library library card during their class visit to book fair can choose one of several drawings for prizes. We will draw names tomorrow at lunch!

Mrs. Childres’s ELA class visited the library today and we read Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, played “Don’t Drop the Meatballs”, and then sampled some delicious meatballs with our chefs hats on! We all decided that food raining down from the sky would be fun for a few days, but would get old pretty quickly.

Congratulations to Kammarie in Ms. O’Neal’s ELA class on completing the MESH reading challenge and congratulations to Kaiden in Mrs. Reynerson’s class for completing the 40 Book Challenge. They have earned 50 points for the 6th grade BUILT team!

Stop the presses! We have our very first 5th graders to finish a reading challenge. Congratulations to Andi in Mrs. Gettys’s class and Emma in Mrs. Pizzolato’s class for reading five titles from the State Library of Louisiana’s LYRC reading list. The 5th grade now has 30 points for their BUILT team!

Bring your library card to the book fair and show Mrs. Jones during class. You will be entered into a drawing for book swag and a signed book.

These rules apply: Names will be drawn at the close of the book fair. You MUST show YOUR card during your class visit--no exceptions. Please do not come during other classes. It must be the student’s card and not a parent’s or siblings.
