During your first semester you can expect to participate in an orientation designed to introduce you to the program and set the foundation for your success. This event provides an opportunity to meet the cadre, instructors, and support staff who will guide your military training and assist you throughout your academic journey. You will receive an overview of ROTC expectations, grooming and appearance standards, and the resources available to help you develop as a future leader such as scholarship or SMP opportunities.
Orientation also allows you to connect with upperclassmen cadets who can share valuable advice and mentorship based on their experiences in the program. In addition, you will have the chance to build relationships with fellow first-year cadets, creating a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie from the start. 💚🦅
