I can’t wait to get this one painted up and show you what it looked like alive.

Tried a different paint technique. It’s cool, but needs a little more refinement. What do you think?

I sculpted this one like 10 years ago as I was doing a study of textures and how to paint them. I just kind of decided to throw a bunch of different animals together to see if I could make a somewhat cohesive yet also mashed up looking creature.
Never be afraid to make weird s**t, you learn a lot from it. I discovered I love mashing animals up and it’s kind of what pushed me to start making the creature skulls I’ve been working on.

Finally painting one of the skulls I made. I wanted to do a process video or do it LIVE, but my allergies are trying to end me today.
