BookGive

Start making those piles, book worms! The fourth annual YellowDog Dog-Eared Pages Book Drive is just around the corner. We’re collecting new and gently used books to benefit BookGive, Denver’s favorite literacy nonprofit and giver of free books.

So now is the time to crack open the book you’ve been meaning to read for ages. Make room for your ever-growing TBR list and join us in getting books into the hands of readers.

📍YellowDog, 3881 N. Steele St., Ste. 1242, Denver, CO 80205

🗓️ September 1 - 30, 2026

📚 Accepting newish and gently used books, because your books deserve better than collecting dust on crowded shelves (and because literacy is for everyone).

Find all the details at https://yellowdogdenver.com/fourth-annual-dog-eared-pages-book-drive/, and get ready to give!

Keep ‘em coming! We've gotten such a fabulous response that we are extending our fall book drive. Bring your gently loved book donations to the YellowDog offices before 5 pm NEXT Friday, October 9.

📚 🐕 💌

All donations help our nonprofit partner BookGive fulfill book requests from schools, community spaces, and individuals in Denver and beyond. This drive will also help stock their Free Book Room. That’s right, an adorable indie shop full of books anyone can have for free. Your donation helps BookGive in their mission to increase book access for all.

BookGive is at two great events today - come visit our booth at Fiesta @ Federal between now and 3pm, or stop by the bookmobile at Bike ‘n Brew in Thornton from 3-7pm. Or make a day of it and head to both great events! Jeff Park @ Federal Satire Brewing Company

We are HALFWAY to our fundraising goal for Trick or Trivia!

Thanks to the overwhelming support of donors and community partners, we have less than $1,500 left to raise and get us to our giving goal of $3,000.

A donation to BookGive does *so much* for the people and organizations who rely on us for books.

From keeping our Free Book Room open to the public, to processing and packaging donations for organizations as they come in, to hosting events like our Trivia Night this October, we're only able to stay in operation because of people like you.

Please consider making a gift and becoming part of the movement that's sparking a love for literacy across Metro Denver.

Visit the Trick or Trivia event page in our bio and make your secure donation, today.

Wow! A huge thanks to Bill and Sara with the Weld RE 9 School District for dropping off 3 pallets of middle and high school books for BookGive! We can’t wait to get these books distributed to our partner organizations!

BookGive volunteers teamed up this morning at the All Out Multi-course Fall Fest 5K race in Westminster. The race course was great, the weather was perfect, and the racers were generous, donating books and funds to support our mission! All-Out Multicourse
