So much happening this month! Hope to see you there!

Saying things like “I don’t believe you’re Deaf” or “Your voice is too good to be Deaf” isn’t a compliment it’s insulting.
Many of us went through years of speech therapy and it sucked! Those who grew up in the AG Bell era, have been through really hard times.
Stop commenting on how our voices sound. Not important.

As a teacher for the past 7 years, I come across students like this more than I wish I did. Sometimes they have attitude and sometimes they don’t. If a teacher tells you that’s the wrong sign, feel free to look it up on lifeprint.com but don’t clap back and demand that you are right. Honestly. We don’t start learning ASL yesterday.

It’s Ask The Sassy Baker 👩🏾🍳 Friday!!
Today I’m giving you a baking tip cause quite a few people have told me they can’t bake chocolate chip cookies!!?? 😮 we need to fix that pronto!
My tip is using both baking powder and baking soda to get fluffy cookies instead of flat crunchy ones. But if you prefer yours crunchy, ignore my advice.
