CBSA President & CEO Elyse Blazevich represented Colorado’s life sciences community at a roundtable with U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen, convened by HealthyWomen, on genetically targeted therapies and the bipartisan MINI Act.

Breakthrough medicines can take 10–15 years and more than $1 billion to reach patients. That long development runway requires regulatory predictability and sustained government support for research and innovation.

“We want Colorado to compete for and lead the scientific innovation that will define medicine in the coming decades,” says Blazevich.

CBSA thanks Reps. Pettersen and Gabe Evans for their bipartisan leadership on the MINI Act and their commitment to policies that support long-term innovation and patient access.
