Hello Learn2Link community, it’s been a while! 👋

We’re delighted to share that these past four months have been filled with moments of meaningful connection, collaboration, learning, and growth here at L2L.

Since March, participants in our 2026 Global Changemakers Virtual Exchange have been hard at work:

📝 Exploring what “community” means to them;
💭 Identifying local challenges through the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework;
💡 Developing innovative ideas to address those challenges; and
🗳️Voting to select this year’s group project.

And the winner was 🥁 …

🎉 Connecting Generations: Building Digital Confidence Together—a community-based project that aims to bring older adults and young people together to develop their digital skills, while tackling SDGs 10 and 4: Reduced Inequalities and Quality Education.

We’re truly proud of the energy, empathy, and sincerity our Changemakers have demonstrated throughout this year’s exchange, and we look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!

Thank you for being a part of this journey towards a more interconnected, peaceful, and humane world.

Together, we learn. And together, we grow. 🌿

Happy Friday, Community!

Today marks our final post of the year, offering up one more glimpse back at the transformative journeys of our 2025 Global Changemakers. 🌏🌟

Gillian was an energetic, open-hearted, and globally curious Changemaker who brought joy, enthusiasm, and genuine warmth to every meeting. She loved connecting with peers in Vietnam, sharing facets of everyday life, and learning how cultural differences and similarities shape us. Her contributions to the Bright Bite Initiative (BBI) taught her how meaningful community impact becomes when shaped by diverse perspectives and collaboration. Gillian also recognized how support from the local community, including volunteers and families, made the launch day of BBI even more memorable. 💻💡❤️

Learn more about Gillian, why she chose to join L2L, and how she has grown by reading her self-reflection blog at https://www.learn2link.org/post/gillians-journey-2025

Gillian, we are so grateful for your bright spirit, curiosity, and the empathy you brought into every conversation this year. Thank you for reminding us that connection goes beyond borders, and that community can be built anywhere people choose to show up with kindness. We know you’ll continue to create a positive impact wherever your journey leads. We love you, Gillian! ❤️👣

And to the entire L2L Community, thank you again for being a part of this educational movement—towards a more peaceful, humane, and interconnected world. Our sincerest appreciation goes out to all of our Changemakers, facilitators, volunteers, partners, and donors. We wish everyone a joyful and restorative holiday season. 🌠

Here’s to a new year filled with growth and endless potential. We’ll see you in 2026! 🎊

Hello again (L2L) Community,

Today, we’re continuing our year-end celebration with a moment of reflection and gratitude for our 2025 Global Changemakers. 🌎❤️

Cindy was an introspective, gentle yet courageous Changemaker who joined L2L with a love for languages, creativity, and cross-cultural connections. During her journey, Cindy discovered new levels of confidence in expressing herself and learned to speak more freely, share her ideas without fear, and trust her own voice. She also embraced the challenge of managing the Bright Bite Initiative (BBI) in Vietnam—a community-based project developed together with her fellow Changemakers in the U.S. From brainstorming ideas and weighing practicality to budgeting, purchasing, and packaging, she took on a wide range of responsibilities. It was not always easy, but Cindy handled everything with impressive maturity and calm. 🕊️🌿

Learn more about Cindy’s journey, why she chose to join L2L, what she learned, and how she has grown by reading her sincere self-reflection blog at https://www.learn2link.org/post/cindys-journey-2025

Cindy, we are so thankful for your presence, your growth, and your gentle strength. Thank you for letting L2L walk alongside you as you stepped into uncharted territory and utilized your voice to uplift your home community. We know you will continue on as a true changemaker, leading with sincerity and heart in everything you choose to do. We love you, Cindy! ❤️👣

Happy Holidays (L2L) Community!

In the spirit of the season, we’re taking some time to reflect on how fortunate we’ve been to carry out our mission of connecting young leaders in the U.S. and Vietnam over the last few years, and most importantly, to celebrate the individual journeys of our 2025 Global Changemakers.

Up first, we’re taking a look at Kayla, the leader of the Bright Bite Initiative (BBI)! 🌟🌎

Kayla was a thoughtful and compassionate Changemaker, who truly paved the way for our 2025 community project—the BBI, which was successfully carried out in the U.S. and in Vietnam. Kayla, together with fellow Changemaker Gillian, and L2L’s volunteers, supported the Richmond community in tackling SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being by preparing nearly 300 care packages. Through this experience, Kayla discovered leadership qualities she did not know she had, such as confidence, critical decision-making, and the ability to stay grounded even while juggling summer classes and a busy schedule. 🍎📅

Learn more about why Kayla chose to join L2L, what she learned, and how she has grown by reading her self-reflection blog at https://www.learn2link.org/post/kaylas-journey-2025 .

Kayla, we are so grateful for your presence and contributions to L2L this year. Thank you for showing us what dedication, compassion, and thoughtful leadership look like in action. We know you will continue to lead with courage, kindness, and purpose wherever your journey takes you. We love you, Kayla! ❤️🌠
