A Heartfelt Thank You from Msingi Soccer Academy π
We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Msingi Soccer Academy in Uganda. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity have made a real difference in the lives of our young athletes.
Special thanks to those who recently donated cleats β your support helps our players train with the right gear, giving them the confidence and opportunity to grow both on and off the pitch.
At Msingi, we believe in using soccer and education to transform lives, and every contribution, big or small, fuels our mission to empower youth from underprivileged communities.
With love and gratitude,
The Msingi Soccer Academy Team

Meet Msingi Soccer Academy β Where Talent Meets Hope
In Uganda, there is no shortage of talent. Walk past any dusty field at sunset and you'll see it: barefoot boys chasing a ball with a fire in their eyes, dreaming of something bigger. But for so many of these children, talent alone is never enough. Poverty, broken families, and hardship stand between them and the future they were made for.
That's where Msingi begins. Msingi means "foundation" β and that is exactly what we set out to be. Msingi Soccer Academy takes in talented but vulnerable and disadvantaged children and youth, and uses the game they love as a vehicle to do far more than develop great players. Through football, we empower, educate, and mentor these young people β and, above all, we share the love of God with them.
Many of the boys who come to us have known hunger, instability, and uncertainty. At Msingi, they find something different: a safe place to stay, daily meals, an education, and mentors who believe in them. Here, a child isn't just coached β he is cared for. He learns discipline, character, and confidence. He discovers that he is seen, that he is valued, and that he was created for a purpose.
Football is how we reach them. But transformed lives are what we're really building β young men who will carry hope back into their families and communities, on and off the pitch.
None of this happens alone. Behind every meal served, every boy mentored, and every dream kept alive stands a group of faithful people who believe in this mission with their whole hearts. We are deeply grateful to the Board of Directors of the Msingi Development Fund, whose vision, prayers, and tireless generosity have laid the foundation that makes this ministry possible β and to our partner in Germany, whose steadfast friendship and support have helped carry this work further than we could ever go alone. Because of them, vulnerable children in Uganda are finding hope, a home, and a future.
Lately, so many of you have been asking, "What is Msingi? Where do the boys live? How can I be part of this?" We're so glad you asked. The images below give you a glimpse into the Msingi Academy house β the home where our boys eat, rest, study, and grow together as a family.
This is our foundation. This is Msingi. And with friends like you standing alongside us, we're just getting started.

Dear friends,
Every evening in Uganda, as the sun goes down over dusty pitches in places like Kamuli, Lira, and the Kansanga slums, a group of boys lace up worn boots and chase a ball as if their whole future depends on it. For many of them, it does.
These are the children of Msingi Soccer Academy β talented, determined, and, until recently, largely forgotten. Boys like David, just 12, whose world fell apart when his father left and his mother had to spend her days at the hospital caring for his sick little sister. Boys like Joel, raised by a single mother farming to feed eight children. Boys like Jonah, whose gift for football nearly went unseen simply because his family couldn't afford a pair of boots.
At Msingi, everything changes for them. Here, a child doesn't just find a football team β he finds three meals a day, a safe place to sleep, an education, and someone who believes in him. For a boy who has known hunger and uncertainty, that is nothing short of a lifeline. As David told us, "Being here, where food, education, and basic needs are provided, helps my mother focus on caring for my sick sister."
Football is how we reach them β but it's character, confidence, and education that we send them into the world with. Some of these boys dream of turning professional. Others dream of becoming doctors, of building hospitals, of coming back to lift up the very communities they came from. Every one of those dreams starts with the chance to simply stay β fed, safe, and in school.
Here's where we are. Our goal is to raise $5,000. Thanks to a handful of generous early supporters, we've raised $460 so far β and we are deeply grateful. But we still need $4,540 to keep these boys fed, housed, and learning in the months ahead.
Here's what your gift can do:
$25 helps provide meals for a boy for a week
$60 helps cover a month of school costs
$150 helps keep a child safe, fed, and in school β on and off the pitch
Any amount brings us closer, and every single dollar goes directly to these children
If this story has moved you, please do four things today:
Give what you can β no gift is too small.
Share this campaign with your family, friends, and community. A share costs nothing and can reach the one person who changes everything.
Sponsor a child directly. You can choose a specific boy β like David, Joel, or Jonah β to walk alongside as he grows. Meet the children and see their profiles here: https://msingiglobal.outgiven.org/dashboard/manage/MSINGICSP2026
Keep these boys in your heart. You are now part of their story.
Together, we can close that $4,540 gap and give more vulnerable children in Uganda what every child deserves: a full plate, a safe place, an education, and the chance to dream.
Thank you for believing in them.
With gratitude, The Msingi Soccer Academy Team
