Coloradans are giving more 08/06/2026

On Aug. 1, Colorado will be celebrating 150 years as the centennial state. Throughout the state’s history, Coloradans have lent each other a helping hand when times got tough — a trend that the Colorado Gives Foundation is continuing to see rise.

While the Colorado Gives Foundation has made its name through Colorado Gives Day — an annual day of charitable giving, this year slated for Dec. 8 — the foundation works year-round to support Coloradans throughout the state by providing a platform for nonprofits to raise money online. The foundation also gives grants to nonprofits in Jefferson County throughout the year to support the community.
