5280 Pest Control

Got a random call today about a “duck” that needed rescue because it had a hurt wing and couldn’t fly. Turns out that was mostly true.

Meet Gary the Canada goose who most definitely does have a hurt wing and leg. I’m imagining it was from a vehicle strike. Really hoping he isn’t to messed up but definitely isn’t life threatening as he seems super chatty with me.

Yall I think I’m getting close to picking my Halloween costume this year.

Scariest pests….ever!

Seriously these little guys fly at lightning speed when you disturb them and just try to kill ya!……but they gotta go.

What do you think goes through their minds when they are just lounging on the nest?
Probably “why can’t we make honey? Bees get all the cool stuff I swear”

Seriously though what a “sweet” view of this nest!
They were sitting on the underside of some house siding! ….but not for long!

These black n yellow pests decided to take over a back porch area and didn’t even offer to pay rent first!

These yellow jackets are so bad this year! Thankfully we aren’t seeing them be super aggressive as of yet but that will come as the year progresses.

Little bit O’ dust and bam they will disappear!

Bats while beneficial don’t need to be living inside your home. Bring them, instead, these little bat houses to the outside.
The question is how can you get them out without harming them? Easy. Bat one way door. They come out at their leisure but simply can’t get back in the same way. Now our fuzzy flying friends are around but not filling the home with bat bugs and guano.

Sometimes I always feel like something is trying to step on my day…..flick that thing away!

Buggers got mad but started attacking the duster instead of me strangely but I’ll take it!

Never seen them build a nest inside of the french drain! Thats a new one for me!

Client has had just a major rat issue going on in their mountain home, but…..only on half of it.

Interesting home, home was built in mid to late 1900’s but half burned down forcing a rebuild of half of the property.
The original half is the only affected side of the infestation interestingly enough.
I think I found the entrance though…..let me know what yall think.
