Please join us in celebrating an extraordinary milestone: Lorita Travaglia’s 20th Anniversary as Rehearsal Director with Colorado Ballet! 🩰✨

Originally from New Zealand, she received her ballet training at the National School of Ballet and later the Royal Ballet School in London. Lorita built a brilliant international career rising through the ranks to a principal dancer, performing iconic lead roles from Odette/Odile in "Swan Lake" to the Sugarplum Fairy in "The Nutcracker." Since joining Colorado Ballet in 1999, and serving as Rehearsal Director since 2006, her exceptional depth of experience, expertise, and artistic leadership have helped define the strength of our company.

Beyond her vital work in the studio rehearsing classic repertoire, Lorita’s visionary choreography ("Equanimity", "Pictures at an Exhibition", "The Angel of Buenos Aires") and commitment to dancer development have left a lasting mark on our dancers and audiences alike. Off stage, she brings that same passion to her practice as a Licensed Acupuncturist, is an avid tango dancer, and serves as Creative Director of Parasol Arts

MEET THE DANCER ✨ | Stefanee Montesantos

Get to know dancer,

Some fun facts about Stefanee are that she went to Butler University, where she graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and a Minor in English Creative Writing. Her favorite book is "Pride & Prejudice" by Jane Austen, and her favorite movie is Studio Ghibli’s "Howls Moving Castle." 📚🎬🍿

The One Gala is one of Denver’s premier events celebrating Colorado Ballet’s 66th season and a future filled with artistic innovation, dance education and accessible movement.
