Mile-High Writing
Located in Denver, CO. A two-year, low-residency Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing located at a small liberal-arts college in the Mile-High City.
Mile-High Writing at Regis University hosts a residential BFA and a low-residency MFA in creative writing that celebrates the ways in which storytelling impacts our social and cultural lives. ("Low-residency"= work from home and come to campus twice a year for a week-long residency involving workshops, craft seminars, and readings.) Go from book idea to completed book manuscript in two years, and learn more about writing than you ever knew possible along the way! Distinct features:
- the only low-res MFA in the Mile-High City
- the lowest student-faculty ratio in the country (3:1)
- the only program requiring a "Writing in the World" action plan
- One of only two low-res MFAs offered by Jesuit universities (Jesuit = academic rigor + care of the whole person)
- the only program that offers a "ski day" (during the January residency) and a "whitewater adventure) (during the July residency). Learn more at www.regis.edu/mfa

Thank you to Dr. Andrea Rexilius and Eric Baus for helping lead such a meaningful residency, and to our faculty members, visiting writers and guest speakers, and MFA students for bringing their voices, creativity, care, and energy to each day.
