Cloudchord is a producer, guitarist, and educator. While known as a highly prolific chillhop and lofi artist, his range expands beyond any particular musical genre or ideology. Genuine connection with the Source is the daily mission. Live shows incorporate uptempo disco and funk numbers, live looping, group sing-alongs, and in the crowd guitar solos. Past collaborations include Big Gigantic, Emancipator, Braxton Cook, Prob Cause, Dirtwire, East Forest, Oatmello, and Ian Ewing. Check out the Cloudchord Essentials Playlist on Spotify for his 10+ hours of released music. 3. Is an Ableton Certified Trainer
4. Won the Of Monsters and Men remix contest in 2016 with a viral tropical house flip of "Wolves Without Teeth."

Here’s today’s reminder: the people doing meaningful, fulfilling work usually aren’t spending much time tearing someone else down. ✌️

The Secret Dreams thunder and lightening came at 3:52am, just 8 minutes before my set.
24 hours in Ohio and I didn’t get to play. 😢 At least I got to see a few old friends!

How did playing with members of the Grateful Dead eventually lead to Deadtronica ?

My bandmate Aron Magner talks about his history playing with members of the Dead, and what happens when we bring that spirit into the electronic world.

If you’re curious how Grateful Dead meets EDM came together—or what you’re walking into next week in Asbury Park—start here. ⚡️🌹

I highly recommend that every guitarist traveling through Austin or Nashville file a formal complaint at TSA.gov.

Austin and Nashville are two of the last true “Guitar Towns” in the country, yet Transportation Security Administration - TSA at both airports routinely forces musicians carrying guitars through an unnecessary extra screening step that can add 10–20 minutes to the security process.

Denver and LaGuardia use the exact same screening machines, but the simple addition of larger trays allows musicians to move through security just like everyone else.

I filed a formal complaint and pointed out that this is a very fixable problem. These airports serve cities where working musicians and musical instruments are a huge part of the culture and economy. We even have giant guitar statues at baggage claim in Austin. Kind of ironic, huh?

We shouldn’t have to build an extra 20 minutes into airport security simply because we’re traveling with a guitar.

If enough of us speak up, maybe we can get this changed. Strength in numbers. 🎸
