Yesterday was the first day of the 2026 Legislative Session! And I was honored to receive the Iron Skillet Award from the Colorado Restaurant Association last night for my work to support the foodservice industry.

It was great to introduce Governor Polis at today’s 2025 Energy Legislative luncheon. Encouraging to hear the Governor and legislative leaders reaffirm their commitment to Colorado’s solar industry. Our state will continue to lead on clean energy development.

Yesterday I had the honor of opening the 2026 Hydrogen Policy Leaders Convention. We kicked off with insightful conversations and a special appearance from . A highlight of mine was exploring the potential of geologic hydrogen, an abundant, zero-carbon fuel that could help decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors like trucking and aviation. It should be a great next couple of days learning about hydrogen!

Hard at work this weekend at the Capitol for the special session. Glad a dog is here to keep morale up while we deal with the budget mess Republicans in Washington left us.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to tour the CSU Energy Institute/Powerhouse Campus in Fort Collins with members of the CSU team and leadership from New Day Hydrogen. I learned more about how their hydrogen fueling station operates and what it would take to build a clean hydrogen market here in Colorado. The station is powered through a 100% clean process, showing the real potential of hydrogen as a tool to decarbonize transportation. Exciting to think we could see hydrogen-powered cars on Colorado roads in the near future! ♻️
