5 must-see stops on your Ireland road trip (save this for your own trip!) 👇
📍 Gap of Dunloe
Drive or walk (or take a horse and carriage ride) through the dramatic mountain pass, and give yourself time to stop along the way. The road is narrow and winding, but the scenery makes it worth taking your time!
📍 Killarney
Use the town of Killarney as a base for exploring Killarney National Park. There’s so much to see around the national park that you could easily spend a couple of days here.
📍 Kerry Cliffs
This coastal viewpoint is famous for a reason. The views are absolutely incredible, and there’s lots of hiking and beautiful nature in the area.
📍 Slieve League Cliffs
This was our own personal favorite viewpoint. These are some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, and they felt much wilder and quieter than we expected. We got there in the afternoon and saw maybe a handful of people during the time we spent there!
📍 Di**le Peninsula
The scenic drive along the coastline of the Di**le Peninsula offers breathtaking views, and the town of Di**le is as charming as they come, with cozy cafés, shops, and pubs that make you want to stay a while.
🚗 Our tip: Don’t try to cram too much into an Ireland road trip. Some of our favorite memories came from the unplanned stops at cozy pubs, driving down tiny roads, and pulling over simply because the view was too good.

New retailer alert! You can now find our bags at Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia (does this make us art? 🖼️ 🤔)
Would you spend the night here? 👀 This ended up being one of the most memorable walks on the Isle of Skye ⛰️🌊 The route from Elgol to Camasunary Bay winds through rugged coastal scenery, eventually opening onto the remote shores of Camasunary, where the Camasunary Bothy sits beneath the dramatic peaks.
But what exactly is a bothy? 👀
A bothy is a simple, usually unlocked shelter in the Scottish countryside, traditionally converted from old cottages or farm buildings. They’re free for walkers to use, with no reservations - you simply arrive, share the space with whoever else is there, and leave it clean for the next person. The Camasunary Bothy has a sleeping platform and a composting toilet, and can accommodate around 15 people.
It’s a uniquely Scottish kind of adventure: hike into the wilderness, spend the night in a tiny shelter by the sea, and wake up surrounded by some of Skye’s most spectacular scenery.

Nothing quite as recharging as doing nothing in a beautiful place 🏔️😌
Inspired by nature, made for your adventures 🏔️ Kelly and I are very intentional about the colors we choose for our designs, and we often get inspiration from the places we love to explore. Over the years Pine Green has become our most popular color across every style - and honestly, we get it! It adds a little color without being too much, and goes with just about everything 🌲

From mountain road trips and charming historic towns, to cities covered in autumn foliage, here are six places that are worth a visit if you’re looking to travel this fall 👉
Scotland, United Kingdom
Maybe it’s just us, but we think Scotland feels extra magical in fall. The crisp air, misty mountains, cozy pubs and landscapes covered in autumn color is exactly what we want out of a Scotland trip. Road trip through the Highlands, stop along all the adorable coastal towns, and spend a couple of days exploring Edinburgh for some true fall magic.
Shirakawa-go, Japan
This mountain village is famous for its traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, and looks like it belongs in a fairy tale (or a Studio Ghibli movie). It’s gorgeous in all seasons, but there’s something special about how autumn turns the surrounding mountains into shades of red, orange and gold.
Ronda, Spain
Perched dramatically above the El Tajo gorge, Ronda is one of Andalusia’s most spectacular towns. Fall brings cooler temperatures that make wandering the old streets, visiting the historic bullring and taking in the surrounding countryside much more enjoyable.
Seoul, South Korea
Autumn turns Seoul into a mix of golden ginkgo trees, red maples and historic palaces surrounded by colorful gardens. The 2026 forecast expects peak foliage across much of Korea from mid-October through early November, making fall one of the best times to explore the city.
Bacharach, Germany
A small Rhine Valley town filled with half-timbered houses, vineyards and medieval charm. Come in fall to see the surrounding hills covered in colorful vines - and combine it with a scenic road trip along the Rhine.
Alberta, Canada
Fall is one of the best times to experience the Canadian Rockies, when the mountains get their first dusting of snow and the forests turn brilliant shades of gold. Road trip through Banff and Jasper, stop at turquoise alpine lakes, and keep an eye out for elk and other wildlife along the way.
If you’re planning a trip to Portugal, don’t skip the Algarve Coast. Think dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden beaches, colorful fishing towns, and some seriously beautiful coastal drives. Here are a few places we’d put at the top of your list 👇 (Make sure to save this so that you have it when you’re planning your trip!)
📍 Lagos
A great place to base yourself for exploring the western Algarve. Wander through the old town, visit Praia do Camilo and Praia Dona Ana, and take a boat trip around the famous Ponta da Piedade cliffs.
📍 Praia da Marinha
One of the Algarve’s most iconic beaches, surrounded by towering golden cliffs and clear turquoise water. Get there early if you want to enjoy it before the crowds arrive.
📍 Benagil Cave
The famous sea cave with the opening in its roof is one of the Algarve’s best-known sights. You can see it by boat, kayak, or SUP - just make sure to check current access rules before you go, as entering the cave itself can be restricted.
📍 Carvoeiro
A small coastal town with a pretty beach, colorful buildings, and a lovely clifftop walking route. The Seven Hanging Valleys Trail starts nearby and is one of the best ways to experience the Algarve’s coastline on foot.
📍 Praia da Falésia
If you’re looking for a long stretch of beach rather than a tiny cove, add this one to your itinerary. The red-and-orange cliffs run for miles and make for an especially beautiful walk at sunset.
📍 Sagres & Cape St. Vincent
Head west for a completely different side of the Algarve. The landscape becomes wilder and more rugged, with huge cliffs, crashing waves, and far fewer buildings. Stop at Cape St. Vincent - once considered the edge of the known world.
Our tip:
Rent a car if you can. The Algarve is much more enjoyable when you can hop between beaches, viewpoints, and small towns at your own pace rather than relying on public transportation.
Best time to visit:
Late spring and early fall are a great sweet spot - warm weather, fewer crowds than the height of summer, and much more comfortable temperatures for hiking and exploring.
