The Terracina Design team had a great time at the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver Clay Shoot at *Official* Colorado Clays and we are especially proud of Martin for taking home the tournament win! 🏆

Thank you to the HBA of Metro Denver for putting together another great industry event, our partners at AzTec Consultants, Inc. and to Oakwood Homes of Colorado for sponsoring the day. It is always a great time to get out of the office and connect with our homebuilding community.

This month, we are celebrating Clarissa’s five year anniversary with Terracina Design!

Over the past five years, Clarissa has contributed her strengths across many phases of our work, from design concepts and material selections to construction documents and site visits. Her experience in grading and planting design, leadership in the office, and positive determination have made her an important part of both our projects and our team.

She brings curiosity, collaboration, and a great sense of humor to the studio, while continuing to take on new challenges and opportunities throughout the design and construction process.

Thank you, Clarissa, for five years of hard work, creativity, leadership, and everything you bring to the Terracina team.

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹

From technical planning documents to compelling project visuals, Carter contributes to Terracina Design’s work in many ways.

As a landscape designer, he supports infrastructure plats, PUDs, and construction documents, and creates visual assets that help communicate project ideas during public hearings and neighborhood meetings. Carter has also been exploring how artificial intelligence can streamline repetitive tasks, creating more time for thoughtful site design.

Away from the studio, Carter can often be found skiing, backpacking, camping, or enjoying live music at Red Rocks.

We appreciate the curiosity, creativity, and fresh perspective Carter brings to Team Terracina!

We are celebrating two years since the landscape in Revere South received final acceptance.

Terracina designed a high-prairie, xeric plant palette to complement the community’s character. It is exciting to see how beautifully the landscape and the community have begun to fill in. Even through Colorado’s drought conditions, the landscape is thriving!

This month, we are celebrating two Terracina Design anniversaries!

Mike has been part of Terracina since the very beginning, helping shape both our projects and our company over the past 11 years. His planning expertise, deep knowledge of Aurora and Denver, and sense of humor have made him a cornerstone of our team.

Chase is celebrating five years of contributing to master-planned communities and infill developments through thoughtful site planning and community design. His collaborative spirit and positive attitude make him an important part of Team Terracina.

The Terracina Design team traded the office for the racetrack at K1 Speed! 🏁🏎️

A little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a few fast laps made for a great afternoon together.

We work hard, but we always make time to connect as a team and have some fun along the way!

Five years of Terracina Design Engineering!

Five years ago, Terracina expanded its services to include civil engineering, with David Bacci and Martin Metsker helping lead and grow the team from the start.

As Associate Principals, David and Martin have helped build a strong engineering group through thoughtful project work, great client relationships, and close collaboration with Terracina’s planning and landscape architecture teams.

Thank you both for everything you’ve contributed over the past five years. We’re excited to see what the next five bring!

Today we’re celebrating John Simmelink and another year with Terracina Design!

Since joining the team, John has continued to grow as a landscape designer while contributing to a variety of projects throughout Colorado. One recent highlight has been Cobblestone Crossing in Broomfield, which received unanimous approval earlier this summer and will bring 134 new paired homes to the community.

John brings curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to jump in and learn to every project he works on. We’re grateful to have him on the Terracina team and excited to see where the next year takes him.

Another piece of the Reunion community is moving forward! 🏡

Reunion Filing 40 was recently approved as the next location for Oakwood’s single-family detached homes in Commerce City. Located at E. 112th Avenue and Chambers Road, the approximately 49 acre development will bring 203 new homes to the community.

A 1+ acre park is proposed in Filing 40, providing the community with a children’s play structure and multi-purpose turf field, along with an east to west open space corridor connecting to the existing Second Creek open space and drainageway.

It’s always exciting to see another piece of a larger community come together. Congratulations to the entire team who helped get Filing 40 approved!
