The moment it all began. ❤️
Opening our bids to Alpha Phi marked the start of a lifelong sisterhood and one of the most meaningful bonds we'll ever share. That single moment became the beginning of countless memories, unforgettable experiences and friendships that continue to shape who we are.
We are forever grateful for the bid that started it all. ❤️

Big opportunities often begin with one application, and for Karly Cabot (Gamma Rho-Penn State), they have led to unforgettable experiences.
A senior at Penn State University studying broadcast journalism, Karly has turned her passion for storytelling and sports into an impressive resume. She has interned with Penn State football, worked with the Saquon Barkley Foundation and the Jordan Mailata Foundation and most recently served as a VIP host intern at the FIFA World Cup after discovering the opportunity through Penn State’s Bellisario College of Communications.
Working behind the scenes at one of the world's largest sporting events, Karly welcomed VIP guests from around the globe, including presidents, politicians and celebrities.
Karly credits Alpha Phi with helping her build the confidence and communication skills that have prepared her for opportunities like these.
"Looking back now as a senior, I don't think I realized at first just how much Alpha Phi would shape me. It has helped me become more confident, more independent and stronger as a woman. My sisters have always encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, chase opportunities and believe in myself," she says.
We are proud to celebrate Karly and cannot wait to see where her passion for sports and storytelling takes her next.
In Alpha Phi, every moment holds a special place in our hearts. From opening our bids and finding out we are Alpha Phis to leadership opportunities, sisterhood events, philanthropy, weddings, growing families and so much more, each experience becomes part of a shared story that connects us for life.✨
This year, we are celebrating the moments, both big and small, that remind us why we continue to cherish this sisterhood. Through every milestone and every season of life, Alpha Phi has been a constant source of friendship, support and belonging.
The moments may look different for each of us, but together they tell the story of what it means to be an Alpha Phi.🌿❤️
The best moments are the ones we share together. Forever thankful for a sisterhood that gave us women who stand by us through every chapter of life.❤️
Recruitment season is approaching, and we could not be more excited! ✨
The countdown is on, and we cannot wait to meet all of the amazing women going through recruitment this fall.💗

Linda Long Boland (Gamma Kappa-CSU Long Beach) has dedicated much of her life to serving young people through both Alpha Phi and education. A member of Alpha Phi for more than 40 years, she has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as International President from 2010 to 2014. Linda believes that investing in young people creates lasting change, saying, "Every minute and every dollar makes a difference in young people's lives." ✨
Inspired by her connection to Anguilla, where she has spent part of each year since 1991, Linda founded the Anguilla Schoolbooks Foundation in January 2025. The nonprofit provides textbooks and workbooks to primary school students whose families cannot afford them. In its first year, the foundation distributed educational materials to more than 60 children, with the goal of ensuring every primary school student on the island has the resources needed to succeed. Through her lifelong commitment to service, Linda continues to empower young people by giving them the tools they need to learn and thrive.
