Chassis number 23 was delivered new on October 11, 1984, to its first owner (on the Ligurian coast), and it still has the original Lancia warranty booklet to prove it.

This is a Lancia 037 Stradale, one of about 200 road cars Lancia had to build before it was allowed to go rallying. The rally version beat the Audi Quattro for the 1983 manufacturers' title- in rear-wheel drive. Nobody has done that since.

It has about 30,000 km. Corduroy seats with red piping (yes, corduroy). A little wear, nothing dressed up for a sale.

It's not listed publicly, and it's not going to auction. Price on request.

Only about 1,000 of these were ever built, and this one still races.

This 1972 Fiat 124 Abarth Rally is a real Group 4 homologation car. It has a Colotti dog-leg gearbox, a cage bolted through the floor, and an FIA passport. It just ran the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique. The factory version won the European Rally Championship in 1972 and again in 1975.

It's over 50 years old, so it clears US import age rules. It does need a passport re-inspection, new safety gear, and a service before its next start. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a race car between events.

Group N isn't supposed to beat Group A. The rulebook keeps it too close to showroom stock for that.

But at the 1989 Rally di Messina, this ex-Ford Italia Sierra RS Cosworth (prepared by Repetto and driven by Franco Cunico), won outright as a production-based car beating purpose-built machinery. A year earlier at the Targa Florio, it ran 3rd overall, beaten only by factory Group A entries.

With two Italian championships, the original plates AND documentation, this rally legend is one-of-a-kind. And it's still wearing the numbers from its last rally.

An issue during our designated refuel time took too long to fix, forcing us to hand in our time card to the rally officials. Day 1 was over just as we were starting to click as a team.

We got back in the car for Day 2 as a competitive entry... And finished 2nd in our class!
