Celebrating community in Berthoud.
Our Berthoud Picnic was a sweet reminder of what happens when neighbors come together to share stories, laughter, and connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.

Breaking the stigma around men’s mental health.
Men’s Health Month is a reminder that mental health is health, and no one should have to carry life’s hardest moments alone. Checking in with a trusted friend, family member, or neighbor can make a huge difference.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, remember: the first step can be a conversation.

Honoring the dads who help shape us.
Today, we’re celebrating the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures whose love, guidance, and steady presence make a lasting impact. We’re grateful for the incredible men who show up for their families, neighbors, and communities in so many meaningful ways. Happy Father’s Day from A Little Help.
A special thanks to David for sharing his thoughts on what service with Chris means to him.

Tomorrow is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.
More daylight means more chances to show up for our older adult neighbors. Whether it’s a ride, yard help, a friendly visit, or a quick errand, a little of your time can make aging at home possible.

Celebrating Freedom Day.
Today, we commemorate Juneteenth. This is a day that marks valiant progress in the face of great hatred. When Union troops finally made it to Galveston Bay to officially decree the Emancipation Proclamation, over 2 years after it had been passed, 250,000 black folks across Texas were free by executive decree.
This Juneteenth, we celebrate how far we have come and remember how far we still have to go to achieve true equity.
Join us for our next Little Talk, “Movement That Feels Good: Staying Active Without Overdoing It,” with Physical Therapist Kristina Nguyen from Kaiser Permanente and Head Trainer Kevin Snodgrass from Vivo.

Volunteering means that an older neighbor feels seen.
Serving with A Little Help means making connections that help older adults out with tasks in their homes, but it also means so much more than that. It means reminding an older adult that "you matter."
We need you in our A Little Help Family to help older adults age well in their homes, connected to community.
